Change?
When Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama speak of change, they are talking about what is left in your pocket, after taxes ——— plus lint. – 02/09/2008 Tony Snow addressing CPAC

Progressive or Conservative?
Progressiveism moves to create a government framework into which every American can contort himself to fit, regardless of the indignity.  Conservatism demands government to adapt to the needs of the people — usually by staying out of the way — strengthening hope, by setting people free to be the best they can be.  That freedom allows dreams to grow to vision, vision to drive plans, which come to fruition, to the strengthening of this great nation. – (Paraphrased) Tony Snow at CPAC 02/09/2008

Presidential Preference Caucus

The Montana Republican Party's Presidential Preference Caucus was held on February 5th, 2008 to determine who earned the support of Montana's delegates to the national convention.

This is an important and historic step for Montana Republicans.  For the first time in memory, Montana will have the chance to play a role in the Presidential Primary process at a time that is relevant to the election, instead of remaining an afterthought when nearly every other state has already voiced their preference for the Republican candidate for President.

Many county leaders, potential voters, and interested citizens have asked questions about the caucus, looking for more information into the specifics of the caucus, and we want to provide everyone with the information they need.

The following links will provide you with more information on the caucus and its procedures.

Caucus meeting times and locations will be posted as they become available on this: list of locations.
